As you may have read elsewhere on this site, I am an author. I've been getting paid to write for over 20 years.
These days I mostly write books (under my own name and as a ghost), but from time-to-time I also get involved in other writing projects.
When you work with me, you work with me, Simon Cann. Now that may sound a rather odd thing to say, so let me elaborate.
If you engage me for a project, then the person you will meet, the person you will talk to on the phone, the person you will be dealing with, and the person who will do all of the work, will be me. I don't have a team of writers who I pass the work on to and I don't engage low paid individuals in the developing nations to provide a first draft which I then polish: I do the work myself.
As well as maintaining quality, this approach has another key advantage: confidentiality. There is no reason for me to pass on any of your confidential information to anyone. This provides an additional level of security for you.
Although I am based in London, I frequently work with people from around the globe. To give you an idea of my global relationships, during 2006, 2007, and 2008 my writing projects involved working with people from UK, USA, China, Germany, Canada, Argentina, Malaysia, Brazil, Italy, Sweden, Ireland, and Japan. I have also had my work translated into French, German, and Spanish.
